Can you ask if an applicant smokes utah

The Utah Indoor Clean Air Act is designed to protect children and adults in Utah from exposure to the harmful effects of secondhand smoke. The law prohibits smoking, or using electronic-cigarettes (vaping), in all enclosed indoor places of public access and within 25 feet of any entrance, exit, open window, or air intake of a building where smoking is not allowed. It also requires buildings that allow access by the public to place “No Smoking” signage at all entrances or in a position clearly visible upon entry into the building.

The Utah County Health Department provides free resources, including signage and decals, to interested businesses and organizations in the county.
